Finland is a country located in the northeast region of Europe. It is one of the Scandinavian countries and it is surrounded by Russia on the east, by Sweeden on the west, by the Baltic Sea on the south and by the Barents Sea on the north.
Due to its high latitude, its landscapes are mainly composed by deep forests and big lakes which make an enchanting scenery. But the best part of their beauty comes in winter, when the forests get covered by snow and the lakes get frozen, giving a white view that feels marvelous. Also, it is the time when you can skate over the frozen lakes and enjoy seeing raindeers in their natural environment, two experiences that are surely worth-living.
As a conclusion, Finland is a country that natural-landscapes lovers have to visit, not just because of its splendid natural beauty, but also the way to enjoy it.
